Tangwu Map Poster & Print
Tangwu is a town in the Shandong countryside, in an area of farmland and small settlements in the east of China. From above, it shows the typical pattern of the region. Main roads meet at a central cluster of streets and blocks, and rectangular fields and village lanes surround it on every side.
The streets are mostly straight, laid out in a loose grid. The pattern grows denser toward the centre and opens out toward the edges, where housing gives way to agricultural land. Longer roads connect the town to nearby villages and larger cities in Shandong.
A Tangwu map poster keeps things plain and accurate. The town grid gathers at the centre, and a network of roads and field boundaries spreads out around it. It is a calm, graphic image and a personal one for anyone with family roots or memories in this part of the province.

Field patchwork
Rectangular fields and farm roads surround the town. They add a regular, quilt-like texture to the edges of the poster.
Connecting roads
Longer roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements, drawing straight lines outward that give the map its structure.
