Temple precinct
The Ganesh temple enclosure interrupts the dense centre with a larger, more regular shape, the setting for the chariot procession that fills the surrounding streets each year.

Tāsgaon Map Poster & Print
Tāsgaon lies in the Sangli district of southern Maharashtra, in dry country that irrigation has turned into one of the state's important grape-growing areas. On the map the town forms a dense, roughly rounded core of lanes and small blocks, with roads leaving in several directions towards neighbouring villages and market towns. Around it the land breaks into narrow plots that suggest orchards and vineyards rather than open fields.
The town is widely associated with grapes and raisins, and drying sheds and trading yards are part of its working life. Its best-known landmark is a Ganesh temple near the centre, whose tall entrance tower and annual chariot procession draw visitors from across the region. The temple precinct is one of the few places where the tight street pattern opens around a larger enclosure.
A Tāsgaon map poster captures a place defined as much by its surroundings as by its centre. The printed lines show the knot of old lanes, the looser layout of later housing, and the fine subdivisions of farmland pressing close to the edge of town. It is a quiet, precise image of a market town that grew up serving the fields around it.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the town in several directions towards villages and neighbouring towns, carrying produce to market and giving the map a clear, star-like structure.
Vineyard margins
Around the built area, narrow parallel plots mark the vineyards and orchards that underpin the local economy and give the outskirts a distinctive, finely striped texture.
