Medjerda meanders
The river winds past the town in tight curves. It gives the poster its most expressive line and a clear sense of the valley's shape.

Tebourba Map Poster & Print
Tebourba is in Manouba Governorate, roughly thirty kilometres west of Tunis, on the lower course of the Medjerda, Tunisia's longest river. The town's streets gather close to the river. On the map the Medjerda's looping line is the dominant shape, curling past the town before it continues toward the sea.
The surrounding valley is one of the country's main farming areas, with olive groves, orchards and cereal fields laid out in long parcels. People have lived on this site since antiquity, when it was called Thuburbo Minus. In late 1942 the area saw heavy fighting during the Tunisian campaign of the Second World War.
A Tebourba map poster turns this river town into a balanced composition: a compact centre of streets, the soft curves of the Medjerda, and the fine grid of farm tracks around it. It suits anyone with family in the Manouba region or an interest in the landscapes of northern Tunisia.
