Torreón Map Poster & Print
Torreón is the main city of the Comarca Lagunera, an irrigated farming region in the arid north of Mexico. It grew around the railway at the end of the nineteenth century and became a city in 1907, which explains its strikingly regular grid of wide, straight streets. Across the Nazas River, usually a dry sandy bed, lie Gómez Palacio and Lerdo in the state of Durango.
The three cities form one continuous metropolitan area divided by a state line, a relationship that is easy to read on a map. West of the centre, the Cerro de las Noas rises above the streets, topped by the Cristo de las Noas, one of the tallest statues of Christ in Latin America. Beyond the city, fields and desert ranges stretch toward the horizon.
A Torreón map poster shows a young, confident city in clean geometry: the dense grid of the centre, the long boulevards, the curve of the riverbed and the neighbouring cities just across it. It suits anyone from La Laguna, and anyone who enjoys the precise, almost diagrammatic look of a planned northern Mexican city.

Nazas riverbed
The Nazas River separates Torreón from Gómez Palacio and Lerdo, and its wide, often dry channel forms a clear boundary across the map.
Cerro de las Noas
The hill west of the centre carries the large Cristo de las Noas statue and appears as a compact rise among the surrounding streets.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Laguneros are known for their attachment to their region, and a map of Torreón is a simple way to carry that into a new home or office. The strong grid also makes it one of the most graphic cities to hang on a wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a wedding date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Order a matte print with an optional wooden frame, or download the HD files.
