Totteridge Map Poster & Print
Totteridge is on the northern edge of London, in the Borough of Barnet, and it has kept a strongly rural character. The area is organised around Totteridge Lane, a long road running east to west along a ridge, with commons, meadows and large private gardens on both sides.
On the map, this gives a pattern quite unlike the rest of London. Instead of a dense grid of streets there are a few long lanes, big irregular plots and wide areas of open land. The Dollis Brook winds along the valley to the south. St Andrew's churchyard is known for a very ancient yew tree.
A Totteridge map poster is spacious and restrained. Thin lanes run through large areas of green-belt land, and the denser suburbs of Whetstone and Mill Hill press in at the edges. It offers a rare view of London as countryside.

Commons and fields
Open common land, meadows and large gardens leave broad empty spaces on the map, strikingly sparse for somewhere inside Greater London.
Dollis Brook
The brook winds through a green valley on the southern side, a gentle curved line followed by a walking route.
