Turksib railway line
The railway cuts straight across the map, with sidings and the station area in the middle of town, marking the reason Ushtobe grew here in the first place.

Ushtobe Map Poster & Print
Ushtobe sits on the open plain of southeastern Kazakhstan, beside the Karatal River as it flows toward Lake Balkhash. The town grew up around a station on the Turkestan–Siberian Railway, and the tracks still form the strongest line on the map, with the streets arranged in blocks on either side and irrigation channels reaching into the fields.
The town has a significant place in the history of Koreans in Central Asia. In 1937 many Korean families deported from the Soviet Far East were brought to the area around Ushtobe, and the community's story is remembered locally. Around the town, the flat land is divided by canals and roads into large rectangular fields.
An Ushtobe map poster sets the town against that wide, even landscape. The railway runs straight through the frame, the river winds along one side, and the blocks of houses sit between them in a compact rectangle. Few features compete for attention, so the lines come out clear and graphic.

Karatal River
The river meanders across the flat plain near the town, a soft curving line that contrasts with the straight rail track and the regular street blocks.
Irrigated field grid
Outside the town, canals and farm roads divide the steppe into large geometric plots, showing how the dry plain has been shaped for agriculture.

ဘာကြောင့် Ushtobe
အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Ushtobe matters deeply to many families across Kazakhstan, Korea and further afield, as a place of arrival, survival and new beginnings. A map of the town is a restrained way to keep that connection visible at home.
Add a family name as the title, a year or the coordinates in the subtitle lines, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper gives the plain a soft, archival feel that suits a family story.
