Vera Map Poster & Print
Vera is the head town of Vera Department in northern Santa Fe, Argentina, on the flat lands where the Pampas give way to the Chaco. On the map it is a textbook Argentine grid, with square blocks laid out evenly around a central plaza and edges that end cleanly in open countryside.
National Route 11, one of the main roads through the Argentine northeast, passes the town, and a railway line crosses the area, both drawn as long straight lines across the flat terrain. The region's history is tied to the quebracho forests of northern Santa Fe, whose timber and tannin shaped the development of many towns in the area.
A Vera map poster suits this clear geometry. The plaza at the centre, the uniform blocks around it, and the highway and rail lines running out to the horizon make an orderly, balanced print that captures the character of a provincial town on the plains.
