Villianur Map Poster & Print
Villianur is a town in the Union Territory of Puducherry, a short distance west of the city of Puducherry on India's southeastern coast. It is best known for the Thirukameswarar temple, a large Shiva temple whose annual chariot festival draws crowds from across the region. The streets around the temple form the heart of the town.
On the map, the temple complex appears as a large rectangular enclosure, with streets running around it and roads leading out toward Puducherry and the surrounding villages. Beyond the town, the land opens into paddy fields and irrigation tanks, typical of the fertile plains of this part of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
A Villianur map poster centres on that rectangular temple precinct and the streets that circle it. In black and white, the geometry of the temple and the surrounding blocks stands out clearly against the softer shapes of the fields and water tanks.
