Wetzikon Map Poster & Print
Wetzikon lies in the Zurich Oberland, east of Zurich, in rolling land between the lakes and the pre-Alpine hills. From above, it has no single historic core. Instead, it is made up of several former villages that have grown together. Each has its own cluster of streets, and roads and railway lines tie them together.
Lake Pfäffikon lies just to the northwest. Its oval shoreline is surrounded by protected moorland and reed beds, which appear on the map as open, irregular spaces. The railway station is an important hub for the S-Bahn network, and the tracks cut clean lines through the town. Wetzikon Castle, surrounded by water, is a reminder of the town's older past.
A Wetzikon map poster shows this varied layout clearly. Several village centres are spread across the plan, with residential streets between them, the lake and moorland to the side, and railway lines running through. The composition is balanced and detailed, typical of the green, well-connected towns around Zurich.

Joined villages
Wetzikon grew from several separate villages, each with its own street cluster. On the map they form a series of small centres connected across open ground.
Railway hub
Railway lines meet at Wetzikon station and run through the town in long, precise strokes. They give the poster structure and show its links to Zurich.
