Depok Map Poster & Print
Depok lies on the southern edge of greater Jakarta, in West Java, on the way toward Bogor. It grew quickly as a residential city for people working in the capital, and much of it was built around the commuter railway that runs north to south through its centre. On a map it looks less like one core and more like a series of neighbourhoods strung along roads and rail.
The Ciliwung River winds through the city from the south, cutting a curving green corridor through the housing, and a number of small lakes, known locally as situ, appear as scattered pools across the map. Between them, residential estates form their own tight clusters of short streets, often with a single road linking them to the main arteries.
The main campus of Universitas Indonesia occupies a large, wooded area in the north of the city, with lakes, curving roads and faculty buildings set among trees. A Depok map poster captures this mix of campus, river valley and suburban growth, a layout that is quieter and greener than the dense grids of central Jakarta.

The Ciliwung valley
The river's meanders trace a winding line through the city, bordered by greener strips where steep banks keep buildings back from the water.
Commuter rail line
The railway to Jakarta runs straight through Depok, with stations that became the anchors for the surrounding neighbourhoods and their roads.

किन Depok
अर्थपूर्ण नक्सा
Depok means different things to different people: student years at UI, a first family home, a daily commute. A map of the city keeps those places together, and its lakes and river give the design a gentle, uncluttered look.
Add your own title and a subtitle such as a graduation year, adjust the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px preview shows the result before you decide on the $9 files or a printed poster.
