Bay and îlets
The broad bay holds a scatter of small islands of different sizes, which become the most recognisable element of the map and give the poster its sense of depth.

Le Robert Map Poster & Print
Le Robert lies on the Atlantic side of Martinique, wrapped around one of the island's largest bays. On a map the coastline tells most of the story: a wide inlet partly sheltered from the open ocean and dotted with small islands, known locally as îlets, with the town gathered along the inner shore. Inside the bay the water is calm enough that the shoreline curves softly, with coves and small points instead of cliffs.
Inland, the streets climb away from the waterfront into rolling hills covered with neighbourhoods, gardens and former plantation land. Roads follow the ridges and valleys rather than a grid, so the pattern looks loose and branching, like veins running down toward the sea. Mangrove edges and the shallow sandbanks known as fonds blancs show up in the bay as pale, uneven shapes.
One of the bay's islands, Îlet Chancel, is known for its population of Lesser Antillean iguanas, and boat trips around the îlets are a familiar local pastime. A Le Robert map poster frames all of this as a composition of land and water, where the scattered islets float in white or dark space depending on the style you choose.

Waterfront town
The centre of Le Robert sits along the inner shore of the bay, where the densest cluster of streets meets the water before spreading up into the hills.
Branching hill roads
Away from the coast, roads follow ridges and valleys instead of a grid, forming a loose branching pattern that contrasts neatly with the smooth line of the shore.

किन Le Robert
अर्थपूर्ण नक्सा
This is a map for people who know the view across the bay, whether they grew up in Le Robert, spent summers on the Atlantic coast or took a boat out to the îlets. The coastline alone makes a strong, recognisable image on a wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or the year of a trip, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Noir make the water and islets especially striking.
