Pietrasanta Map Poster & Print
Pietrasanta lies in Versilia, in northern Tuscany, where the Apuan Alps drop steeply toward a flat coastal plain. The historic centre is a compact walled town laid out on a regular plan below the hill of the Rocca, with its long central square opening at the heart of it. Beyond the old walls, newer streets spread across the plain until they reach Marina di Pietrasanta and the long, straight line of the Tyrrhenian shore.
The town has long been tied to marble. Stone from the nearby Apuan quarries has been worked in its studios and foundries for centuries, and sculptors from around the world still come to cut marble and cast bronze here. Fernando Botero lived and worked in Pietrasanta for many years, and contemporary sculpture regularly appears in the Piazza del Duomo beside the cathedral of San Martino.
A Pietrasanta map poster shows how neatly these layers sit together. The dense rectangle of the old town reads at the top, the orderly beach resort grid runs parallel to the sea at the bottom, and a band of roads, railway and fields connects the two. It is a map with a clear direction, from mountain to shore, and it looks composed even before any styling is added.

Marina di Pietrasanta
The seaside district forms a tidy grid of streets set parallel to the beach, ending at a straight coastline that draws a firm line across the bottom of the map.
Between hills and sea
The Apuan foothills close the map on one side and the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other, so the whole town sits within a narrow, readable strip of coastal plain.

किन Pietrasanta
अर्थपूर्ण नक्सा
Pietrasanta draws artists, summer visitors and people who return every year to the same stretch of beach. A map of it recalls long evenings in the square, a studio visit or a family house near the sea, and its clean structure suits a calm, gallery-like wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the year of a first visit, and pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring out the warmth of the Tuscan setting, while Noir makes the marble-white streets stand out.
