Amadora Map Poster & Print
Amadora lies just northwest of Lisbon and is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Portugal. Its map is a close weave of residential streets climbing and descending small hills, cut through by highways and the Sintra railway line. There is little open land, so parks and green corridors stand out clearly where they appear.
The most historic line on the map is the Aqueduto das Águas Livres, the eighteenth-century aqueduct that carried water to Lisbon and passes through Amadora on its way to the capital. The city is also known for its long-running international comics festival, Amadora BD, which has made it a reference for the art form in Portugal.
An Amadora map poster reveals a neighbourhood-scale texture that is usually lost in maps of greater Lisbon. The tight blocks, curving hillside streets and bold transport lines combine into a dense, graphic image that works well in the high-contrast Noir style.

For people from Amadora, a map of the city captures their own neighbourhood rather than a view dominated by central Lisbon. It is a way to hang the streets of home with pride.
Add a personal title and subtitle, such as a neighbourhood name or a date, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available, and you can order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
