Imus lies in the province of Cavite, directly south of Metro Manila. From above, it is long and narrow. Aguinaldo Highway runs its full length from north to south as its main spine, and the Imus River and smaller streams flow roughly parallel toward Manila Bay. Between them, the land is filled with a patchwork of residential subdivisions.
Each subdivision has its own layout: some are regular grids, others loops or curving crescents. Placed side by side, they create a very varied texture, cut through by rivers and the highway.
