Bukit Melawati
The hill beside the river mouth holds the remains of an old fort, a lighthouse and a view over the strait, a green rise at the heart of the map.

Kuala Selangor Map Poster & Print
Kuala Selangor sits at the mouth of the Selangor River, where it meets the Strait of Malacca on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. The name itself means the river mouth of Selangor, and on the map the broad tidal river and its mangrove-fringed banks are the first thing the eye follows.
Just above town rises Bukit Melawati, a small hill that once held the fort of the Selangor sultans and now carries a lighthouse and old cannon. Upstream, the riverside at Kampung Kuantan is famous for the fireflies that gather in the mangrove trees at night, one of the best-known sights of its kind in Malaysia.
A Kuala Selangor map poster combines coast, river and plantation. The town centre is compact, bridges cross the estuary, and beyond the edges long straight roads divide oil palm estates and paddy land into large regular blocks. A nature park of mangroves and ponds lines the shore, softening the grid with irregular watery shapes.

Selangor estuary
The wide river meets the sea just beyond town, curving through mangrove banks and mudflats that give the composition its most flowing lines.
Firefly riverbanks
Upstream at Kampung Kuantan, mangroves along the river are known for synchronised fireflies, a quiet stretch of water that anchors the inland side of the poster.

Many people know Kuala Selangor from evening boat trips among the fireflies or weekend drives from Kuala Lumpur for seafood by the river. For them, and for those who grew up here, the map holds a clear and happy memory.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a trip date, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Noir sets off the river and coast strongly, while Classic black & white, Paper, Blueprint and Sand offer quieter looks.
