Lingyuan Map Poster & Print
Lingyuan lies in the hilly west of Liaoning province, close to the borders with Hebei and Inner Mongolia. On the map the city follows its valley, with the built-up area stretched along the lower ground and the surrounding slopes keeping development within fairly clear limits on either side.
The streets are mostly regular, with main roads running along the valley and shorter cross streets connecting them. A river passes along the edge of the centre, and railway and road corridors follow the same low ground, so infrastructure, water and housing all run roughly in parallel.
Lingyuan is a county-level city within Chaoyang prefecture, and the wider area is known for early archaeological finds of the Hongshan culture. A Lingyuan map poster shows how landscape shapes a town: a narrow band of streets set in a valley among the hills.

For people with roots in western Liaoning, Lingyuan is a specific and personal place that rarely appears in print. A clean map of its valley is a thoughtful way to remember a hometown or a family origin.
