Mbaké Map Poster & Print
Mbaké lies in the Diourbel region, in the middle of Senegal's groundnut basin. The land is flat and sandy, with few natural features, so the map is almost entirely made up of streets. The town's older core has irregular lanes. The newer districts are laid out in straight blocks that spread across the plain in every direction.
To the northwest, Mbaké has grown together with Touba, the holy city of the Mouride brotherhood. The two now form a single continuous urban area.
