Designed street loops
Wide roads curve around the housing clusters instead of forming a grid or an old maze. The result is a clear, deliberate pattern that shows well in monochrome.

Monterusciello Map Poster & Print
Monterusciello is part of Pozzuoli, west of Naples, and was built in the 1980s. The area around Pozzuoli had been hit by bradyseism, a slow rise and fall of the ground that is typical of the Campi Flegrei caldera. As it worsened, thousands of residents were moved out of the old centre, and Monterusciello was planned as a new district to house them.
Because it was planned, the district looks very different from the historic towns of the Campania coast. On the map, broad curving roads loop around residential blocks, and open ground and green spaces lie between the housing groups. The whole layout was designed at once, so it reads as a single plan.
Around it lies the volcanic landscape of the Phlegraean Fields: craters, low hills and the Gulf of Pozzuoli to the south. A Monterusciello map poster shows a modern neighbourhood in one of Europe's most closely studied volcanic areas. It is a personal choice for families whose story includes that move uphill.

Campi Flegrei setting
The district sits within the Phlegraean Fields caldera. The broader map frame shows the rounded hills and crater forms that give this coast its unusual shape.
Toward the gulf
South of the district, the land drops toward Pozzuoli and its bay. A wider crop brings the coastline into the composition as a strong edge.

For many families, Monterusciello is where life began again after leaving the old town. A map of its streets marks that chapter quietly, without monuments, just the roads that became home.
Add a surname, a moving-in year or a street to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
