Roldanillo Map Poster & Print
Roldanillo lies in the north of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, where the flat floor of the Cauca Valley meets the first slopes of the Western Cordillera. The town's regular colonial grid sits right at that edge, so the map shows two very different worlds: ordered blocks and open plain to the east, and folded hills rising sharply to the west.
Roldanillo is the birthplace of the artist Omar Rayo, whose geometric work is shown at the Museo Rayo, a striking modern building in the town. The hills above Roldanillo are also well known for paragliding, as steady winds rise from the valley and pilots launch from the slopes to glide out over the plain toward the Cauca River.
A Roldanillo map poster fits naturally with Rayo's black and white geometry, making the town a fitting subject for a monochrome print. Classic black and white keeps the grid crisp, while Noir sets the pale streets against the dark mass of the cordillera, a composition well suited to a modern interior.

Cordillera slopes
Directly west of town, the Western Cordillera rises steeply, and the contrast between flat streets and crumpled hills defines the map.
Cauca Valley plain
To the east, the valley floor stretches flat toward the Cauca River, crossed by straight rural roads and wide agricultural fields.
