Seinäjoki Map Poster & Print
Seinäjoki lies on the wide, flat plains of South Ostrobothnia, farmland that stretches in long strips to the horizon. On a map, the city is a well-defined grid of streets surrounded by open fields, with the Seinäjoki river curving through the centre and the railway lines that made the town a major junction.
The civic heart is the Aalto Centre, designed by Alvar Aalto and completed over several decades. It includes the Lakeuden Risti church with its tall white bell tower, the town hall, the library, a theatre and administrative buildings, arranged around open spaces and pedestrian routes that form a distinct shape in the street plan.
Seinäjoki is also known for its festivals, including Tangomarkkinat, Finland's tango festival, and the Provinssi rock festival. A Seinäjoki map poster shows the orderly town, its railway lines and the Aalto ensemble, framed by the flat fields of the plain.

Railway junction
Several rail lines meet here and cross the town in long, sweeping curves, one of the strongest lines on the map.
Plains all around
Fields reach close to the edge of the city in long strips, so the built area sits on the open plain almost like an island.

Seinäjoki appeals to architecture lovers drawn by Aalto and to people who come back every summer for tango or rock. For those from South Ostrobothnia, the map is a plain and honest portrait of home.
Title it Seinäjoki, perhaps add a festival year or family date as the subtitle, and keep or adjust the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white suits Aalto's white modernism.
