Magdalena River edge
Colombia's principal river forms the eastern limit of the municipality, its wide channel, islands and marshy banks giving the map a soft, irregular border against the regular streets.

Soledad Map Poster & Print
Soledad sits directly south of Barranquilla, and on a map the two cities run together without a visible seam. What separates them is administrative rather than physical: the same numbered calles and carreras continue across the boundary, forming a tight grid of blocks that fills almost every space between the main roads. To the east, the Magdalena River widens on its final stretch toward the Caribbean.
The Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport, which serves Barranquilla, actually lies within Soledad, and its long runway is one of the few large, clean shapes in an otherwise finely textured plan. Around it the grid loosens into industrial lots, wetlands and the edges of newer housing, giving the southern part of the municipality a more open, uneven look.
A Soledad map poster captures a place defined by density and by water. Printed in black and white, thousands of small blocks read almost like woven fabric, interrupted by the river margin, the airport strip and a handful of diagonal avenues. It is a portrait of a working city that grew fast alongside a larger neighbour while keeping a strong identity of its own.

Airport runway
The single long runway of the international airport cuts a straight pale line through the southern districts, a strong graphic element that anchors the whole composition.
Continuous street grid
Numbered calles and carreras carry on from Barranquilla without interruption, producing a fine, even mesh of blocks that fills most of the urban area.

Soledad is a place people carry with them: a childhood neighbourhood, a family home near the river, the first flight out of the airport. A map turns that attachment into something quiet and architectural, a pattern of streets that is recognisable at a glance to anyone who knows it.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a date or a street, and choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download HD files for $9 or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
