Strzegom Map Poster & Print
Strzegom is one of the oldest towns in Lower Silesia, and its centre still follows the layout of a medieval chartered town. On a map, the market square sits at the middle of a small oval of streets, and a ring road traces the route of the old town walls. Outside that ring, newer districts and industrial sites spread toward the surrounding farmland.
The town's other defining feature is granite. Strzegom has been known for its stone for centuries, and the quarries around it appear on the map as sharp-edged pits, many of them now filled with water.
