Tosu Map Poster & Print
Tosu lies in the east of Saga Prefecture, close to the border with Fukuoka, on the northern edge of the Tsukushi Plain. It is one of the most important transport junctions in Kyushu: railway lines toward Kagoshima and Nagasaki diverge here, and the Kyushu, Nagasaki and Oita expressways meet at the Tosu Junction. On the map, these corridors are the strongest lines, running across the city.
Because of this position, Tosu has become a major distribution hub, with logistics warehouses and industrial parks spread along the highways. The city centre surrounds Tosu Station, and Shin-Tosu Station serves the Kyushu Shinkansen. Wooded hills rise to the north, while flat farmland extends south toward the Chikugo River. The city is also home to the football club Sagan Tosu.
A Tosu map poster makes the idea of a crossroads visible. The rail lines and expressway junction, the compact centre around the station and the open plain beyond form a composition with real movement in it. It suits residents, football supporters and anyone who has passed through this point on the way across Kyushu.

Tosu means home to some, a club to follow for others, and for many a place passed through on journeys across Kyushu. A map of the city captures its role as a meeting point in a clear, graphic form.
