This Vincent is in the high desert of northern Los Angeles County, on the southern edge of the Antelope Valley near Palmdale and Acton. From above, it is very different from the dense grids of the city basin. Roads are widely spaced, parcels are large, and much of the land between them is still open desert scrub.
The Antelope Valley Freeway passes through the area. It is the main connection between the valley and Santa Clarita and Los Angeles, and its long curve is the clearest line on the map.
