Colliery landscape
Mining sites and related housing sit around the town, adding irregular shapes and service roads that set Yellandu apart from farming towns nearby.

Yellandu Map Poster & Print
Yellandu lies in Bhadradri Kothagudem district in Telangana, in hilly, partly forested country. The town is closely tied to coal: mining around Yellandu goes back to the late nineteenth century, and it is associated with the early history of the Singareni Collieries, which still shapes the region's economy.
On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by open land, water tanks and the traces of mining activity. Roads lead out in several directions towards villages and colliery areas, while the edges of the frame fill with forest and hills.
A Yellandu map poster captures the shape of a working town set against a large, open landscape. For people whose families worked in the mines or grew up in colliery housing, the plan carries memories that a photograph rarely holds in quite the same way.

Water tanks
Irrigation tanks near the town appear as smooth, open shapes, contrasting with the dense grain of the streets.
Forest margins
Hills and woodland surround the built area, so the map moves quickly from a tight centre to wide, quiet ground.

Yellandu often means a family history of mine work, company quarters and school days in a small town. A map of the place keeps that history in view, especially for those who have moved to Hyderabad or abroad.
Add a family name or a year as the title and subtitle, and edit the coordinates line if you like. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand for the finished print.
