Alahabad Map Poster & Print
Alahabad lies on the flat, heavily irrigated plain of Punjab in Pakistan, southwest of Lahore. On a map, the town is a compact cluster of streets, dense in the centre and more open at the edges, where houses give way to fields. Roads lead out in several directions toward the nearby villages and towns.
The land around it is shaped by irrigation. Canals and distributaries carry water across the plain in long straight lines, and field boundaries follow them in regular rectangles. This network dates back to colonial-era canal building and remains central to farming in the region, and it gives the countryside its orderly look from above.
An Alahabad map poster is a quiet, personal image: a small town, its surrounding fields and the lines of water and road that connect it to the rest of Punjab. The print has no famous landmark, so it is mainly for people who know the place.

Canal lines
Irrigation channels cross the landscape in long straight lines. They are the most striking structure on the map outside the town.
Field rectangles
Farmland around the town is divided into regular plots aligned with the canals, a fine, even grain that frames the built-up area.
