Alaquàs Map Poster & Print
Alaquàs lies in the Horta Sud, the ring of towns just west of Valencia, and on a map it is hard to say exactly where it ends. Its streets run straight into those of Aldaia and Xirivella, forming one continuous fabric of apartment blocks, narrow lanes and small squares. Only toward the south and west does the pattern open into fields of the old huerta and into industrial estates.
The town's best-known building is its castle-palace, a Renaissance residence with four corner towers that stands in the old centre. On the map it appears as a square block surrounded by tighter streets, the point from which the historic core grew. Around it, later growth followed the roads leading toward Valencia, filling the space with regular blocks during the second half of the twentieth century.
An Alaquàs map poster captures that suburban density in fine detail. Printed in black and white, the old core reads as a knot of short, irregular lanes, the newer districts as a tidy grid, and the remaining huerta as open space at the margins. Framed wide enough, the edge of Valencia itself becomes part of the composition, placing the town firmly in its metropolitan setting.

Shared urban edges
Alaquàs merges with Aldaia and Xirivella with barely a gap, so the map shows a single, continuous street fabric rather than a town surrounded by countryside.
Huerta at the margins
Toward the south and west, irrigated fields and farm tracks break up the density, leaving a band of open ground that sets the built-up area in relief.

For people from Alaquàs, the map is a way of pinning down a place the wider city has absorbed. The square where friends met, the street beside the palace, the school on the edge of town all remain legible in a single frame, recognisable without any labels.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, then pick a style: Paper and Sand suit the warm Valencian light, while Noir makes the dense blocks stand out. Download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
