The old town core
Ambad's centre is a close weave of narrow lanes that turn and fork. On the poster, this area reads as the darkest, most detailed part of the composition.

Ambad Map Poster & Print
Ambad is a town in the Jalna district of Maharashtra, set on the dry, gently rolling plateau of the Marathwada region. From above, it appears as a dense, irregular core of lanes and houses, with newer roads extending outward and the surrounding land broken into the patchwork of agricultural fields.
The town is known locally for the Matsyodari Devi temple, which stands on a hill at the edge of town and draws pilgrims, especially during festival seasons. The older part of Ambad has the tight, organic street pattern typical of long-established Deccan towns, which loosens as it meets roads leading to Jalna and neighbouring settlements.
An Ambad map poster captures a place that grew by accretion rather than plan. Narrow lanes branch and curve around the centre, while straighter roads radiate out across the plateau. The effect in black and white is a dense knot of streets surrounded by open space.

Temple hill
The Matsyodari Devi temple occupies raised ground beside the town. Paths and roads leading to it give the map a clear point of reference beyond the centre.
Plateau roads
Roads leave the town in several directions across flat farmland. Their straight lines contrast with the winding lanes of the old core.
