Āmūr, usually written Armoor, is a town in the Nizamabad district of Telangana, on the Deccan plateau. From above, it is a dense cluster of streets around its market area, with a highway corridor passing nearby and farm roads spreading out into the fields. Granite outcrops and low rocky hills break up the flat land.
The surrounding region is agricultural, and Nizamabad district is known for growing turmeric. Armoor is a busy local centre for trade, and many families here have ties to work abroad, especially in the Gulf. Beyond this, the town is a working place rather than a destination, and its map reflects that.
An Āmūr map poster shows a plateau town in clear lines: the main roads through the centre, the tight lanes around the market, and the fields and rocks around the edge. It is a quiet, local map, best suited to people who know the streets.
