Ancien-Prozi Map Poster & Print
Ancien-Prozi lies in the Sassandra-Marahoué area of west-central Côte d'Ivoire, a region where the southern forest zone gradually opens into more mixed landscapes. The map shows a settlement organised around a few main roads, with houses and compounds spread along lanes that lead out into the surrounding countryside.
Agriculture shapes most of the land around the settlement. Farm plots, patches of remaining forest and small streams form an irregular mosaic between the roads. In this part of the country, cash crops such as cocoa and coffee are widely grown, and footpaths and tracks link the fields to the village center.
An Ancien-Prozi map poster is a simple, organic composition. There is no rigid grid. Instead, roads follow the terrain, clusters of buildings mark the inhabited areas, and the land between them is shaped by fields and waterways. It is a map for people who know the place well and want to keep its layout close.
