Roads through town
A few main routes run through the settlement and form its spine. The smaller streets branch off them in short, uneven lines that fade out where the houses stop.

Antsohimbondrona Map Poster & Print
Antsohimbondrona lies in the Diana region, the northernmost part of Madagascar. On a map the town has no dense core. It shows up as a loose cluster of streets along the roads that run through it, and the lines thin quickly into open country. Much of the surrounding land is green lowland and cultivated ground, which a monochrome print shows as calm, open space.
That openness is what makes the drawing work. There are few straight blocks and no grand boulevards. What you get is a handful of routes that meet, branch and then continue into the countryside. Track lines, small watercourses and settlement edges make a sparse, irregular pattern, and it reads more like a hand-drawn sketch than a surveyed grid.
An Antsohimbondrona map poster is a print for people who know the place first-hand, because they grew up there, worked nearby or passed through on a journey across northern Madagascar. It keeps the town at the scale people actually experience it: a modest settlement where the roads, not the buildings, give the place its outline.

Open lowland
Wide areas of farmland and green country surround the streets. On the poster they become generous white space, so the small town stands out clearly.
Northern Madagascar
The Diana region covers the island's northern tip. Framing Antsohimbondrona places it in a corner of Madagascar that most wall maps reduce to a single dot.
