The railway line
Tracks run straight through the town and anchor the whole layout, with sidings, yards and parallel streets lining up along them as the clearest feature on the map.

Apostolove Map Poster & Print
Apostolove sits in the open steppe of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in southern Ukraine, and from above it reads as a clear, contained shape. A few main roads cross the town, residential blocks and private houses fill the spaces between them, and the built area ends abruptly where large rectangular fields begin. There is little clutter on the map, which makes the structure of the place easy to follow.
The railway is the strongest line in the composition. It cuts through the settlement and gives the town its orientation, with streets and yards arranged along it and roads leaving toward neighbouring towns across the plain. Because the terrain is so flat, the network stays regular, and the gaps between buildings, gardens and tree belts show up as quiet texture rather than noise.
An Apostolove map poster works because of that restraint. Black lines for streets and tracks, white for the surrounding land, and the town becomes a small diagram of how steppe settlements in this part of Ukraine were laid out: a transport line, a practical grid, and fields reaching to the edge of the sheet in every direction.

Steppe field pattern
Beyond the last houses the land breaks into large, orderly field blocks separated by thin tree belts, a geometric frame that surrounds the town on all sides.
Private-house quarters
Low-rise neighbourhoods of houses with long garden plots form a fine, even texture, contrasting with the few larger blocks near the centre.
