Bad Segeberg Map Poster & Print
Bad Segeberg lies in Schleswig-Holstein, between Hamburg and the Baltic coast, and its map is shaped by two strong features. At the centre stands the Kalkberg, a limestone hill that rises unexpectedly from the flat north German landscape, and just to the east the Großer Segeberger See spreads out as a broad body of water edged by paths and gardens.
The Kalkberg is best known for its open-air theatre, where the Karl May Festival has staged Wild West plays every summer for decades, drawing visitors from across Germany. Below the hill, a cave system provides one of the country's largest winter roosts for bats, which gives the town an unusual scientific reputation.
The streets of the old centre wrap around the foot of the hill and run down toward the lakeshore, while residential districts extend outward along the roads to Lübeck, Kiel and Hamburg. A Bad Segeberg map poster captures that pairing of hill and lake, with the town arranged neatly between them.

Großer Segeberger See
The large lake on the eastern edge of town forms the biggest open shape on the map, its irregular shoreline bordered by green space and residential streets.
Spa-town streets
Between hill and water, the older streets of the spa town form a close, walkable grid that loosens into leafy residential districts toward the outskirts.

For people who spent summers at the Karl May performances, walked the lakeshore or grew up under the Kalkberg, this map puts a familiar small-town setting into one clear frame. The lake gives the composition a calm, generous area of open space.
