Bang Kapi Map Poster & Print
Bang Kapi lies on the eastern side of Bangkok, well away from the river bends of the old city. A few broad arteries organise its map, among them Ramkhamhaeng and Lat Phrao roads, and countless narrow sois branch off them like the teeth of a comb. Between these lanes the blocks are small and irregular, the result of growth that followed old plots and waterways.
Khlong Saen Saep, one of the city's best-known canals, runs through the district, and commuter boats still use it to reach central Bangkok. On a map the canal is a thin, determined line cutting through the street pattern. Ramkhamhaeng University, one of Thailand's largest universities, has a sizeable campus here, a calmer patch among the dense streets.
A Bang Kapi map poster makes sense of a district that can feel chaotic at street level. From above, its logic appears: main roads as spines, sois as ribs and the canal as a steady thread. For former students, residents and anyone who has ridden the canal boats, it is a precise record of a very particular corner of Bangkok.

Soi pattern
Side streets branch from the main roads like the teeth of a comb, and many end in dead ends. This gives the poster a fine, repetitive texture.
University campus
The grounds of Ramkhamhaeng University appear as a larger open block among the dense housing. Its paths and buildings are spaced further apart than the surrounding streets.
