Bayiji Map Poster & Print
Bayiji lies east of the city of Xuzhou in northern Jiangsu, in a region whose landscape was shaped over centuries by the Yellow River, which flowed through Xuzhou until it changed course in the 1850s. The land here is level and closely farmed, and the town appears on the map as a cluster of streets set among waterways, ditches and fields.
Water management is the key to reading this map. Canals and drainage channels run in straight and gently curving lines across the countryside, and many roads follow their banks. Around the town, these lines combine with field boundaries into a lattice that repeats across the whole plain, broken only by villages and the town itself.
A Bayiji map poster shows how a small market town fits into a highly organised agricultural landscape. The streets of the centre are close and compact, and outward from them the network of channels and lanes opens up, giving the print a pattern that is both precise and quietly varied.

Embankment roads
Many local roads run along the banks of canals and ditches, so the road pattern often mirrors the waterways and doubles the strength of their lines.
Market town centre
The town's streets form a small, dense core where shops and homes gather, a solid mark in the middle of an otherwise open agricultural grid.

ඇයි Bayiji
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
People from Bayiji and the surrounding villages often move to Xuzhou, Nanjing or Shanghai for work, and a map of the home town keeps its shape close. Personalise it with your own title, a subtitle for a family name or year, and a coordinates line.
Blueprint turns the channels into a clean technical drawing, while Paper gives a softer, archival feel. HD files are $9 for six print sizes, including A3 and 18×24″, each without a watermark, or order a printed poster on matte paper.
