Bedēsa Map Poster & Print
Bedēsa is a town in the West Hararghe zone of Oromia in eastern Ethiopia, set in hilly highland country. It serves as a local market and service centre for farming communities in the surrounding countryside. The terrain around it is uneven, and the town's form follows the shape of the land closely.
From above, the streets appear as a small network gathered around a main road, with lanes branching off along the slopes and houses spread in clusters rather than in rigid blocks. Farm plots and footpaths extend outward over the ridges, blurring the line between the town and the fields around it.
A Bedēsa map poster keeps things simple and true: a modest highland town, its main road, the paths that connect it with neighbouring villages and the rolling ground in between. For people from West Hararghe, it is a way to see a familiar place drawn with care.

Branching lanes
Smaller lanes and footpaths branch off the main road over the slopes, forming an irregular, organic network rather than a planned grid.
Highland farmland
Cultivated plots and paths surround the town on the ridges, so the settlement fades gradually into the countryside rather than ending sharply.
