Bo‘ka Map Poster & Print
Bo‘ka is a district centre south of Tashkent in the farming lowlands of the Tashkent Region. The land here is flat and carefully irrigated, so the map is shaped by water management. Canals and ditches divide the fields into regular plots, and the roads leading into town tend to follow those lines closely.
The town itself is compact. A core of administrative and market streets is surrounded by residential quarters of single-storey houses and walled courtyards, a form common across rural Uzbekistan. Rows of trees line many roads and canals, and in a detailed drawing they add fine texture to the network of streets.
A Bo‘ka map poster shows a town at the centre of an agricultural landscape: dense lanes of houses in the middle, surrounded by fields divided by canals. The design is simple and balanced, and it means most to people with family ties to the district or memories of summers there.
