Xiaofu River corridor
The river rises in the nearby hills and cuts through the district from south to north. The densest streets keep close to its banks, which gives the map a strong central line.

Boshan Map Poster & Print
Boshan sits at the southern end of Zibo, a district that grew up in a narrow valley among the hills of central Shandong. From above, the built area is long rather than round. Streets run parallel to the valley floor, and the pattern breaks apart wherever the slopes rise. The Xiaofu River, which begins in these hills, runs through the town and gives the whole plan its direction.
The place is best known for crafts made from local materials. Boshan has a long tradition of ceramics and coloured glass, and its glassmaking in particular goes back many centuries. The local cooking is often described as a distinct branch of Shandong cuisine. Both say something about how self-contained this valley town has been, with industry, craft and table all rooted in the same few kilometres of ground.
On a Boshan map poster the valley does most of the design work. Dense blocks fill the flat ground, roads thin out into single winding lines as they climb, and the empty spaces on either side read as hills rather than blank paper. It is a map with a clear spine, which makes it hold up well at the larger print sizes.

Valley-shaped plan
Rather than spreading outward, the town stretches along the valley floor. The result is a long composition, with side streets ending abruptly where the terrain steepens.
Hills on every side
The surrounding uplands appear as open ground crossed by a few winding roads, a quiet frame that makes the compact centre of the district stand out.

ඇයි Boshan
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Boshan tends to mean something specific to the people who hang it: a family connection to the kilns or glassworks, a childhood in Zibo, or years spent in the valley. A map keeps that memory in its plainest form, as the streets and the river themselves, without relying on photographs.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, so the poster can carry a family name or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
