Atlantic shoreline
The coast runs close to the district, and on the poster it forms a firm edge where the street pattern stops and the unprinted sea begins.

Camayenne Map Poster & Print
Camayenne is part of Conakry, the capital of Guinea, a city with one of the more distinctive outlines in West Africa. Conakry grew along a slender peninsula that reaches southwest into the Atlantic, with its oldest quarter, Kaloum, at the tip. Camayenne sits along this strip, where the shoreline stays close and the road network follows the length of the land.
Because the land is narrow, the map is organised by a few long routes running inland toward the mainland districts, with shorter streets branching off toward the water. Dense neighbourhoods fill the spaces between them, and the coast itself appears as a clean, uneven line against open sea. Offshore, the Îles de Loos lie a short distance from the peninsula.
Conakry began on Tombo, a small island at the tip of the peninsula that was later joined to the mainland, and the city has been extending inland ever since. A Camayenne map poster centres on this district and its stretch of coast, showing how the neighbourhood sits between the long spine of the city and the open water.

Peninsula spine
Long roads run the length of Conakry's peninsula, linking the older quarters at its tip with districts further inland, and they give the whole map a strong directional grain.
Îles de Loos
A small group of islands lies just off the peninsula; depending on the framing, their outlines can appear near the edge of the sheet as separate shapes in the sea.
