Căuşeni Map Poster & Print
Căuşeni lies in southeastern Moldova, on the Botna River, not far from the Dniester and the border with Transnistria. The town spreads across the gently rolling landscape typical of the region, with residential streets of single-storey houses and gardens around a modest centre. From above the pattern is loose and green, with long streets following the valley.
Its best-known monument is the Church of the Dormition, built in the 1760s and set partly below ground level, reportedly because rules of the Ottoman period limited the height of Christian churches. Its painted interior is regarded as one of the most important sets of church frescoes in Moldova.
Around town, the landscape is agricultural, with vineyards, orchards and broad fields divided into long strips. A Căuşeni map poster brings together the curving line of the Botna, the grid of residential streets, and the roads heading toward Tighina and Chişinău, forming a quiet portrait of a provincial Moldovan town.

Church of the Dormition
The low, partly sunken church from the 1760s is small on the map but central to the town's identity, and is known for its rare interior frescoes.
Garden streets
Long residential streets lined with houses and yards create a loose, open pattern, with gardens and orchards filling the spaces between the lines of the grid.
