Cesson-Sévigné Map Poster & Print
Cesson-Sévigné borders Rennes to the east, and on the map the two blend together with only the ring road marking the change. The Vilaine river runs through the commune, winding between meadows and wooded banks, so the town has a green river corridor at its centre rather than a dense historic core.
Cesson is known as a centre for technology and research. Parts of the Rennes Atalante technology park and many digital and telecom businesses are based here, spread across campus-style sites with wide roads and roundabouts. Sports fans may know the name from the Cesson Rennes handball club.
A Cesson-Sévigné map poster shows a very modern suburban layout: looping residential streets, business parks in large blocks, the arc of the Rennes rocade and the soft line of the Vilaine connecting everything. It is a clear picture of how a Breton town grew alongside a regional capital.

Rennes ring road
The rocade curves along the western side of Cesson, a heavy line on the print that separates it from the city of Rennes.
Technology campuses
Business and research parks spread over broad sites with curving access roads, giving parts of the town a distinctive campus-like pattern.
