Ponds and tanks
Dozens of small water bodies are scattered through the settlement. On the poster they read as clean, pale shapes set among the thin lines of the surrounding lanes.

Charipara Map Poster & Print
Charipara lies in West Tripura, on the flat, well-watered ground around the state capital, Agartala. From above, it does not look like a compact town. It is a loose pattern of lanes that bend around ponds, fields and household compounds, with small roads branching off wherever a new group of houses has grown. The international border with Bangladesh runs only a short distance to the west.
In this part of Tripura, water shapes the land more than any street plan does. Small rectangular tanks appear throughout the map. Paddy fields fill the gaps between settled patches, and lines of trees mark old boundaries. Rendered in black and white, this becomes a delicate composition: fine lines, many small voids and no single centre that dominates the rest.
A Charipara map poster suits someone who knows the place from the ground, from the walk to a pond, a relative’s house or a turning onto the road towards the city. The map records those connections quietly, without leaning on landmarks. It shows how a community on the edge of a growing capital has settled into the low country around it.

Organic lane network
Roads follow field edges and property lines rather than a grid, so the street pattern branches and curves, much like a leaf’s veins.
Border country
Charipara sits in the strip of West Tripura close to Bangladesh, where the plain continues across the frontier with no change in the landscape.
