Cumaru do Norte Map Poster & Print
Cumaru do Norte lies in the south of Pará, in a region where the Amazon forest meets the drier savanna of central Brazil. The municipality covers a very large area, and the town itself is a compact grid of streets set in a landscape of cattle ranches, rivers and forest. From above, long unpaved roads stretch out in straight lines across the land.
The local economy is based largely on cattle ranching, and the boundaries of pastures are often visible as straight lines on the map. Much of the land to the west forms part of large indigenous territories, where the forest remains largely intact.
A Cumaru do Norte map poster shows the scale of the Brazilian interior. The town appears as a small, dense cluster, while the roads and rivers around it extend far across the frame. It is a spare, spacious composition, suited to anyone who values the simplicity of a small town surrounded by open country.

Ranch roads
Long straight roads cross the landscape toward distant ranches and settlements, creating strong lines that dominate the outer parts of the map.
Rivers and forest
Rivers wind through the land beyond the town, bordered by stretches of forest that appear as quiet, empty space on the poster.
