Cupira Map Poster & Print
Cupira lies in the agreste of Pernambuco, the transition belt between the humid coast and the dry sertão of north-eastern Brazil. The town sits on uneven ground, and its map shows it. Streets curve and fork to follow the slopes, and the centre gathers around a church square and a few main roads, not a strict grid.
Outside the built-up area the land breaks into small farms, pasture and patches of woodland, crossed by streams that fill in the rainy season. Roads leave the town toward neighbouring municipalities, and houses line them for some distance before the countryside takes over.
A Cupira map poster shows the plain, everyday structure of a small north-eastern town: the central streets where commerce and public life happen, the residential slopes around them, and the rural land beyond. Its uneven layout makes a better print than a flat grid would, because the shape of the ground shows in every street.

The central square
Civic and commercial life centres on a small core around the main square, where the densest streets meet on the map.
Roads into the countryside
Routes toward neighbouring towns are lined with houses before opening into small farms and pasture across the surrounding hills.
