The river gorge
The Cuyahoga runs through a steep, wooded gorge in the middle of the city. On the poster it is the strongest line on the sheet, curving between blocks that keep a careful distance from it.

Cuyahoga Falls Map Poster & Print
From above, Cuyahoga Falls is organised around its river. The Cuyahoga comes through the city in a deep, wooded gorge, and the streets follow its curves instead of crossing it in a straight line. Bridges mark the few places where the two banks meet. Around the gorge, neighbourhoods spread out in a loose residential grid that runs south into Akron without any clear edge.
The falls that gave the city its name are rapids and drops over exposed rock, and the old downtown grew up next to them. On a map the riverfront is a narrow band where roads, water and green space sit close together. The northern edge of the city meets the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the built-up blocks give way to forest along the valley.
A Cuyahoga Falls map poster shows this contrast clearly: a winding dark ribbon of river, pale parkland around it, and ordinary suburban streets on either side. The city is also home to Blossom Music Center, the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra, whose grounds appear as an open patch of lawn and woodland in the city's northern part.

Downtown riverfront
The historic centre sits right beside the falls. Short streets, bridges and riverside paths come together here, giving the map its densest and most detailed cluster.
Edge of the valley
To the north the grid thins out where the city meets Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Roads become sparse and curving, and the map opens into wide areas of green.

People hang this map to remember a place defined by its river: a childhood near the gorge, summer evenings at Blossom, or a first home on a quiet street above the water. The shape is easy to recognise even for someone who only knows it from walks along the river.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a street, a year or a family name. Choose one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order it as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
