Dingolfing Map Poster & Print
Dingolfing lies on the Isar River in Lower Bavaria, in a broad valley between Landshut and Deggendorf. Its historic core has two parts: the lower town near the river and the upper town on a terrace above it, linked by steep streets. The map shows this division clearly, with the Isar running past in a wide, regulated channel.
The town is best known for the BMW plant that has grown here since the late 1960s and become one of the company's largest production sites in Europe. Its factory halls and rail sidings cover a larger area on the map than the historic centre itself, and they shape the town's economy and daily life.
A Dingolfing map poster brings together the medieval layout of the upper and lower towns, the geometric blocks of industry and the natural lines of the Isar valley. It is a clear portrait of how a small Bavarian town and a major industrial site have grown side by side for more than half a century.

Isar River
The Isar flows past the town in a broad, regulated channel with a green floodplain alongside. It gives the poster a strong natural axis.
Industrial district
The large car plant occupies an extensive area near the town. Its long halls and rail sidings form bold rectangular shapes that contrast with the old streets.
