Alluvial plain
The land is almost perfectly flat, so the map is made of lines rather than relief. Roads, tracks and field edges spread evenly towards every corner of the print.

Dumra Map Poster & Print
Dumra lies in Bihar's Sitamarhi district, on the level alluvial plain that runs north towards the Nepal border. From above, the town has no hills, cliffs or coastline to shape it. Its outline comes from roads, water and farmland: a knot of built-up lanes that thins out quickly into a patchwork of fields, village clusters and small ponds, reflecting the country around it.
This is river country, even where no large river runs through the frame. Monsoon streams, old channels and irrigation ditches cross the plain, and on a black-and-white map they show up as fine, wandering lines. Next to them, the straighter roads look deliberate. Dumra's close link with the neighbouring town of Sitamarhi means the street network does not stop at a clean edge but carries on across the district.
A Dumra map poster suits a place that is best understood by the ground itself. Without landmarks to crowd the composition, the drawing stays quiet and even: dense at the centre, open at the margins, with dozens of small water bodies scattered like punctuation. People who grew up here will recognise it by its roads and ponds, not by a skyline.

Ponds and tanks
Small ponds and water tanks are scattered through the town and the villages around it. In print they read as dark or light dots, depending on the chosen style.
Twin-town streets
Dumra's streets run straight into those of neighbouring Sitamarhi. On the poster the two towns form one continuous urban patch set in open farmland.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
For families with roots in Sitamarhi district, a map of Dumra is a way to keep the home town close. It records the lanes, the ponds and the road out to the fields, and it stays meaningful long after a move to a larger city or abroad.
You can add a family name, a wedding date or the coordinates of the house where you grew up. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The earthy Sand style works especially well for a plain landscape like this.
