Dunajská Streda Map Poster & Print
Dunajská Streda lies on Žitný ostrov, or Rye Island, a large, flat river island formed between the Danube and the Little Danube in south-western Slovakia. The land is almost perfectly level, and the map shows it. Roads run out from town in long, straight lines across open fields, and the centre forms a compact, fairly regular cluster.
The town is the main centre of a region where a large share of the population is ethnic Hungarian. Hungarian is widely spoken, and the town is also known as Dunaszerdahely. It is also known for its thermal water baths and for its football club, DAC, one of the better-known teams in Slovak football.
A Dunajská Streda map poster brings out the clarity of lowland planning. Every road reads cleanly against the flat ground, and the town's compact centre and newer housing estates are easy to tell apart. It is a strong, simple image of a distinctive part of Slovakia.

Straight regional roads
Long roads leave town in several directions across the fields. They give the poster a clear radiating structure that is easy to read.
Compact centre
The historic core and adjacent streets form a neat, dense cluster. The larger blocks of later housing estates spread around it.

For people from Dunajská Streda, or from the wider Rye Island region, this map holds both the town and the landscape around it. It makes a fine gift, whether in Slovak or Hungarian naming.
Add your own title, perhaps Dunaszerdahely, plus a subtitle, date and coordinates. Choose one of five styles. Paper suits the calm plain, and Blueprint emphasises the straight roads.
