Lake Victoria shore
The peninsula's shoreline is long and indented, with bays and marshy edges that give the poster a soft, organic border instead of a hard city limit.

Entebbe Map Poster & Print
Entebbe occupies a peninsula on the northern shore of Lake Victoria, south of Kampala. On a map the lake dominates everything: the town is a finger of land with water on three sides, fringed by bays, inlets and papyrus edges. Roads follow the high ground along the peninsula, while the long runways of Entebbe International Airport cut a straight, deliberate line near the water.
For much of the colonial period Entebbe was the administrative capital of Uganda, and the State House still stands here. The Entebbe Botanical Gardens, laid out at the end of the nineteenth century, run down toward the lakeshore. The airport is also remembered worldwide for the 1976 hostage rescue operation, an event that made the town's name familiar far beyond East Africa.
An Entebbe map poster turns this setting into a study of contrast between irregular shoreline and the precise geometry of the runways. The residential streets curve across gentle slopes, green spaces open up between them, and Lake Victoria fills much of the frame, so the finished print feels as much about water as about the town itself.

Airport runways
Entebbe International Airport sits close to the lake, and its straight runways form the sharpest lines on the map, a strong graphic counterpoint to the curving roads.
Botanical gardens
The botanical gardens and nearby government grounds appear as broad open spaces sloping toward the water, a reminder of the town's years as Uganda's colonial capital.

ඇයි Entebbe
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Entebbe is often the first and last place visitors see in Uganda, and for residents it is a lakeside home with a long past. A map of the peninsula marks an arrival, a posting, a wedding or a childhood, in a way that feels calm rather than touristic.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates with a name or date, then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the lake especially well. Download HD files for $9 or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
