Felana Map Poster & Print
Felana lies in the Oromia region of eastern Ethiopia, in the highland country of Hararghe, not far from the historic city of Harar. The land here is rolling and elevated, with hills, valleys and cultivated slopes. On a map, the town appears as an irregular cluster of streets that follows the terrain, with roads leading out across the uplands.
Agriculture shapes the surrounding landscape, and the highlands of this region are known for cultivating crops such as coffee and khat. Small farms and footpaths create a fine pattern across the slopes, while seasonal streams cut through the valleys and appear as thin lines between the hills.
A Felana map poster shows a town that has grown with the land rather than against it: curving streets, roads following ridges and valleys, and a patchwork of cultivation around the settled core. It is a gentle, organic composition that reads well in a minimalist print.
